Rita Wilson has recruited a host of talented singers for her latest project.

The actress/singer is releasing her Rita Wilson Now & Forever: Duets album on Sept. 27. The album, which includes 10 tracks, features duets with Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Willie Nelson, and more. Wilson and her collaborators will team up on songs from the ’70s, the outlet indicated.

“I wanted to honor where I came from with songs from the seventies,” Wilson said. “It was really about showing enormous appreciation for the songwriting of that period — how these songs are still relevant even though they’re fifty years old.”

“This album is really a continuation of sharing who I am musically, and what it is that I want to say,” she added.

In a trailer that highlights her Duets album, Wilson explained that she wanted to explore one of the “best eras for music ever” by teaming up with “great duet friends.”

“I think I grew up in one of the best eras for music ever because we had such a huge variety and so many different people expressing themselves in so many different ways,” Wilson shared. “I wanted to just get in there and explore that with some great duet friends.”

When describing the collaborative effort behind the project, Wilson said, “everybody put their hearts and soul into it. Everybody was so connected, that it was as if we were communing in some spiritual way.”

“It felt like being in church, and that’s not an exaggeration, because it was humbling, and it was so beautiful, and that’s why we do what we do,” she shared.

Besides McGraw, Urban, and Nelson, Wilson has also enlisted Jackson Browne, Leslie Odom Jr., Smokey Robinson, and Josh Groban to sing with her on the project.

Ahead of her Sept. 27 release, Wilson has shared her collaborations with Brown, Groban, and Odom Jr.

She’s also teased her new album on Instagram, praising the “incredible team” of vocalists she’s joined forces with on each duet.

“On September 27th, I’ll be releasing my new record, Rita Wilson Now & Forever: Duets. These beautiful songs from the 1970s have been reimagined as duets with some of the greatest voices of this generation. I loved working with this incredible team to make this dream of mine a reality!,” Wilson wrote. “Pre-save now via the link in my bio,” she added.
