Rick Astley says all of his dream have come true after watching The Voice coaches remake of his iconic music video.
In a clip shared to YouTube on Wednesday (Feb. 24), Astley is seen reacting to The Voice coaches’ Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas and John Legend’s recreation of his 1980s “Together Forever” music video.
“I have to stop for a second, all my dreams have just come true,” Astley said pausing the hilarious remake of his “Together Forever” music video. “That’s all I could tell you, all my dreams.”
“I want to know where you got this shiny background, it’s the exact shiny background, brilliant,” Astley added.
Throughout the reaction clip, Astley is seen laughing, at times hysterically, to the hilarious music video remake.
“I am sweating, it’s actually making me sweat to watch this,” Astley joked. Later adding, “that dancing is just incredible, it’s amazing, somebody is a wizard. Somebody is a genius, the dance moves are incredible, I mean you can’t tell me these guys came up with that on their own, they’ve been working hard at this obviously.”
Astley then gushed over their rendition of the song and shared how amazing it is to have someone cover your song from back in the day.
“It’s a crazy feeling having some of the greatest folks in the world sing an old song of yours from back in the day, that is very very special. It’s amazing.” Astley shared. “That is amazing, I love it! It’s incredible, I’m almost brought to tears to be honest with you.”
