Interested in learning how to capture live music photography? Here’s your chance to learn from a professional tour photographer on the road!
World renowned photographer Paris Visone, who has worked with artists such as Limp Bizkit, New Found Glory, Godsmack, Shinedown and so many others, will host a unique opportunity to Avatar up close while teaching aspiring photographers how to capture live music. The experience and photography class, dubbed Paris Visone’s Concert Photography Class, is limited to 5 student per city.
The class will include access to the photo pit to capture Avatar’s concert while also getting tips and tricks from Visone during a crash course on concert photography.
In addition to photographing the show, you will also receive a pre-show class which will cover camera settings and photo pit etiquette as well as tips and tricks to capture the images of your dreams. The course includes a photo pass which gives you access to shoot from the photo pit, located right in front of the stage.
During the show, Paris will be by your side providing her expert guidance and support. There will be a short review of images answering all questions after the show.
Students will get to photograph each of the bands on the tour, including Avatar, Magic Sword and Tallah. You will also have the option of sending your photos to the artist(s) with a chance of your images being posted on the bands’ social media, with photo credit of course.
You must bring your own camera (preferably with manual settings), have proof of covid-19 vaccination, and also have a your own ticket to the show in addition to your photography class ticket.
