Reluctant Zero is a 4-piece rock band based out of Northern Virginia who just independently released their new song and music video for “Hurt No More.”

Anyone who has ever did everything that they could to help someone else will probably find the lyrical content in this song very relatable, with lyrics like, “Quit drying your tears with a band-aid / All your burning fears can wait / I don’t wanna see you drowning your eyes again,” and “And if you make me save you, I suppose I will / I would rather spare you and just take your bitter pill.”

Sadly, we sometimes try to fix a problem that isn’t ours to fix. “At some point in life, we’ve all felt compelled to help someone we didn’t know that well because we found something inside them that we connected with. “Hurt No More” tries to encapsulate that feeling,” the band shared.

During the chaos that was the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, the band took the time to write and record their first full length album. This year they are ready to bring their music to the world and continue to push forward. The album, Missing Time debuts in 2021, and was produced by John Brooks.
