iHeartMedia’s Radio 104.5, Philadelphia’s Alternative Rock station, announced that its highly popular Summer Block Party Series will kick off Sunday, June 3rd at Festival Pier and will feature live performances by AWOLNATION, lovelytheband, Flora Cash, Wallows and Deadfellow.
This summer, Radio 104.5 fans can celebrate the season at Festival Pier during a series of summer block parties taking place on June 3, July 22 and August 12. The Summer Block Party Series will culminate with Radio 104.5’s Endless Summer Show at XFINITY Live! onSaturday, October 6.
Admission to the Summer Block Party Series is free and the events are suitable for all ages. Tickets must be secured in advance. Listeners can win tickets, download them from the Radio 104.5’s website or get them at an upcoming ticket raid, a ticket giveaway event held at the sponsors’ locations.
“We’re looking forward to another summer that’s bursting at the seams with live music,” said Amber Miller, Assistant Program Director and On-Air Personality for Radio 104.5. “Bringing this free series of concerts to our listeners is one of our favorite annual traditions.”
The Summer Block Parties are presented by Allstate. Additional sponsors include Family & Co. Jewelers, Gwynedd Mercy University, Sparkling Ice, Commonwealth Charter Academy and Steaz Tea. Miller Lite is the official beer sponsor and Jose Cuervo and Three Olives Vodka are the official spirit sponsors. The events will feature sponsor booth activations offering special giveaways throughout the venue.
