Earlier this week we reported on PVRIS possibly releasing new music next week, and that they have blacked out all of their social media networks including the removal of all content posted on their socials. Now in addition to the blacked out social media profiles and the mysterious cover photo and profile photos that have been added on all their social media profiles. Well, their social media accounts remain vacant, Fans have now begun to receive packages in the mail from PVRIS. Fans are unsure why or how they are receiving these, but speculation has begun that anyone who has purchased VIP, Merch, Rise Records Street Team, or Stuff from their web store are receiving these at random.
The notes fans are receiving state:
“We regret to inform you that the contents of this envelope bear unfortunate information and instructions regarding the second full length record of the band PVRIS.”
“In Loving Remembrance of PVRIS, Birth: November 4th, 2014 Rebirth:(Scribbled Out)
My life closed twice before its close; It yet remains to see If Immortality unveil A third event to me, So huge, so hopeless to conceive, As these that twice befell. Parting is all we know of heaven, And all we need of hell. -E.D.”
Fans have speculated that this poem which appears blurred/scribbled out in the headers of their Twitter & Facebook social media is a poem by Emily Dickinson maybe a new single to be dropped on a May 15th which is the death date of Emily Dickinson or possibly on a Wednesday which is also related to the year 1896 when the poem was written as it was a leap year that begun on a Wednesday. This is just speculation and rumors fans have begun to share around the internet that we are reporting on, we will all have to wait and see when the actual new single or album drops, hopefully soon!
The band will be out on tour this entire summer with MUSE and Thirty Second To Mars, So make sure you get out to a date of that tour! Tonight PVRIS has also performed in Brooklyn, NY with no mention of new music yet during the live show, however they put on an incredible show which you can see highlights of here.
