In honor of Dolly Parton’s 75th Birthday, Priscilla Block shared a song that she wrote inspired by the country icon.

On Tuesday (Jan. 19), Block teased a brand new Parton-inspired track that she wrote entitled “Dolly Would.” In the video teaser clip on Instagram, the “Just About Over You” singer shared a message before singing a snippet of the self-penned unreleased song.

“It is the queen, Dolly P’s birthday today. So, I figured I would play you y’all song that I wrote about Dolly Parton called ‘Dolly Would,’” Block said.

“In a world of rhinestones / you got to be a diamond / push up on that push up bra and keep on shining / just a little bit of hairspray / can go a long way / you can bet if i’m feeling down i’m looking good / just like Dolly would,” Block sings in the teaser video.

Listen to the teaser clip of the song below.

Block is poised to have a banner year following her viral success in 2020 with her TikTok videos and relatable song lyrics. We recently named Block an Artist To Watch in 2021 and her latest song “I Bet You Wanna Know,” further cemented that statement.
