Alice Cooper is back!
The legendary shock rocker, Cooper, kicked off his 2021 fall tour inside Ovation Hall at the Ocean Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Friday, September 17. As the capacity crowd was welcomed with a curtain, resembling a castle, with an image of Cooper’s menacing eyes printed on it, you could just feel the excitement in the air.
Around 9:20 p.m., the infamous eyes of Cooper started to glow on the curtain and a voice welcomed fans to the show, which bought fans to their feet and erupted a thunderous applause. As the crowd got on their feet, the curtain dropped and the band started off with the song “Feed my Frankenstein.” Cooper later walked out of a castle like door in the center of the stage to the explosive roar of the fans in attendance.
The band then went straight into the immortal classic hit song “No More Mr. Nice Guy.” With Cooper pacing the stage from left to right, fellow band members took turns in the spotlight, giving their iconic solos, with Cooper smiling all the time.
As the night rolled on, fans got treated to hit songs such as “I’m Eighteen,” “Poison,” and several rare songs not performed live often like “Roses on White Lace” and “Teenage Frankenstein.” With the band wrapping up the incredible night, Cooper’s epic hit song “School’s Out.”
One statement that can be made is not many musicians continue to thrill fans and fill areas decade after decade. However, Alice Cooper is not like any other musician out there. With an exciting, fun, jammed packed show that kept fans wanting more and more. One thing certainly for sure though, ALICE IS BACK!
