Papa Roach guitarist Jerry Horton shared a photo of an x-ray of his left hand where he told fans that he broke two of his fingers, forcing him to sit out of the band’s European tour with Hollywood Undead.
Horton shared a post to Instagram saying, “I’m sorry to report that I broke two fingers on my left hand and had surgery as soon as my doctor could get me in last Thursday. Fortunately, our brother, Anthony Esperance is going to step in for me until I am 100% so I can be part of the show we all love. To our European fans, you’re going to have a great show! I can’t thank you enough for all your passion and I will be ready the next time. Until then, have fun and burn it up with the boys!!!”
Horton’s temporary replacement is Anthony Esperance.
Papa Roach’s European tour with Hollywood Undead and Ice Nine Kills kicks off in Barcelona, Spain on Feb. 16 and wraps up on March 18 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The band will kick off their U.S. tour with Five Finger Death Punch and I Prevail on April 8 in Sunrise, FL before wrapping up in May.
Sending Jerry Horton well wishes and a speedy recovery to return to the road with Papa Roach on their U.S. trek!
