Panic! At The Disco kicked off leg two of their ‘Pray For The Wicked‘ tour, and fans are loving their newly updated setlist on the tour. The band have now announced a limited edition beer, IP!ATD. The beer was first brewed via a small batch at the Asbury Park Brewery in March 2018 while the band was there for their secret club show teasing their latest record, Pray For The Wicked.

The new limited edition beer is described to feature a strong malt backbone which is complimented with a flavoring of citrus and pine, whilst it also has a subtle bitterness which is distinctive of an East Coast IPA. Brendon Urie worked with Asbury Park Brewery co-founder Jeff Plate to choose what the singer loves within his own beer choices. The pair represented West Coast elements but also wanted to reflect the East Coast elements to reflect the brewery.

“I say this often but beer really is my comfort food,” Urie says. “With all the traveling I do, it’s something I look forward to knowing I can usually find a local beer that represents the city I’m visiting or have one of my classic favorites for when I’m feeling homesick. For me, IP!ATD is a blend of both those feelings—uniting a familiar taste with something fresh.”

The limited edition Indiana Pale Ale will be available exclusively at the Newark, New Jersey show at the Prudential Center Jan. 18th on their ‘Pray For The Wicked’ tour date. You can also grab a tasting of the beer at Asbury Park Brewery beginning on Jan. 19th while supplies last.
