The news has been revealed that Ozzy Osbourne has canceled his scheduled 2020 North American tour due to health issues and treatment.

Ozzy Osbourne was slated to perform on his “No More Tours 2” throughout the United States and Canada from May until July. Osbourne will instead find himself spending time recovering from medical issues and traveling to Europe for various medical treatments.

In a statement, Ozzy says,

I’m so thankful that everyone has been patient because I’ve had a f**king year. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to get to Switzerland for treatment until April and the treatment takes six (to) eight weeks.

The announcement of Ozzy’s tour cancellation comes just one month after he revealed that he had been diagnosed with a form of Parkinson’s disease on the “Good Morning America” show during an interview with his wife Sharon.

It’s Parkin’s II, which is a form of Parkinson’s,” Sharon said. “There’s so many different type of Parkinson’s. It’s not a death sentence by any stretch of the imagination, but it does affect certain nerves in your body.

Ozzy’s statement also went on to say,

I don’t want to start a tour and then cancel shows at the last minute, as it’s just not fair to the fans. I’d rather they get a refund now and when I do the North American tour down the road, everyone who bought a ticket for these shows will be the first ones in line to purchase tickets at that time.

Fans who purchased tickets to the tour can receive refunds from their original point of purchase and will have first access to tickets for Osbourne’s next tour.

We are certainly saddened to learn of Ozzy’s tour cancellation and we certainly send him love and well wishes for a very safe and speedy recovery.
