After lots of rumors circulated throughout the internet and both Ariana Grande and *NSYNC members both teased a collaborative performance at Coachella. *NSYNC reunited to join Ariana Grande on-stage with a surprise performance of “Tearin’ Up My Heart” during her 2019 headlining Coachella  set, However the band did perform with her but it wasn’t the full band it was JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass but not Justin Timberlake.

The band appeared on-stage as a replacement to her usual dancers during the ending of her song “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored” before going into *NSYNC’s classic 1997 hit “Tearin’ Up My Heart.” Grande filling in on vocals for Timberlake, which didn’t even compare to Timberlake’s vocals in the song. Grande’s hit “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored” which samples an old ‘NSYNC hit “It Makes Me Ill” from their 2000 album, No Strings Attached. Grande join the band for a full choreographed performance of their signature dance moves for the hit song.

“I’ve been waiting all my motherf*cking life to say this: ‘NSYNC,” Grande told the Coachella crowd. NSYNC telling the crowd, “Coachella, this has been a dream of ours, thank you Ariana!”

Grande made history as the youngest performer to ever headline Coachella with her headlining 2019 performance. Dubbing her performance as #ARICHELLA, similar to what Beyonce’ did for her headlining performance last year, making history as the first black female to headline Coachella labeling it #BEYCHELLA which will go down in history as one of the best headlining performance to date at Coachella.

Grande is currently out on her Sweetener World Tour, in support of both her album, Sweetener and thank u, next.
