Nick Jonas pulled double duty on Saturday Night Live as host and musical guest.

During the show he made his hosting debut and gave the live performance debut of his latest single “Spaceman,” live from Studio H.

Dressed in a spacesuit, Jonas brought his new single to life with a celestial visual during the live debut of the futuristic track. The singer was seen in the middle of spiraling lasers and fog, while standing atop a crescent moon. Jonas belted out the lyrics to the track, showcasing his signature vocals flawlessly.

During the show the singer also performed a brand new song titled “This Is Heaven,” a track that will release on Thursday (March 4).

“Spaceman” is the title track to his forthcoming third studio solo album. The album marks Jonas’ first solo effort in nearly seven years since his 2014 eponymous album.

The new album will arrive March 12 via Island Records, and is available for pre-order now.
