Nelly heated up Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve on Thursday (Dec. 30) with a performance of his smash hit single “Hot In Here.”
The singer is set to perform a few more songs throughout the show including his latest single “Lil Bit,” which features Florida Georgia Line and is slated to appear on his forthcoming country-inspired EP, The Heartland.
“I’m doing a couple of classics and things, we’ve got a medley celebrating the 20th anniversary of Country Grammar, coming out of 2020 and thanking everybody for helping making that a Diamond album and one of the biggest projects of my life,” the rapper explained ahead of his performance. “And also getting the chance to rock out with ‘Hot In Here,’ as well, perfect party record. But also, getting the chance to debut my new single featuring FGL called ‘Lil Bit,’ which is just a great record, great energy, and it is off of my EP called The Heartland, which will be out next year.”
