Every year, the Super Bowl always brings out the best from the worlds of football, music and advertising/marketing. The national anthem, the halftime show, and even the highly anticipated ads during the championship football game all have star power for fans to enjoy. Super Bowl LVI will feature a face-off between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams, who will have home-field advantage at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles California.
To start the festivities, country singer Mickey Guyton will perform the revered National Anthem. Guyton will join a list of country icons who have performed the anthem at previous Super Bowl games, including Faith Hill, Charley Pride, The Chicks, Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan and Eric Church.
This 2022 Super Bowl Pepsi halftime show will feature superstars Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar. Combined, the five artists combined have 43 GRAMMY awards and have created 22 No. 1 Billboard albums.
“The opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show, and to do it in my own backyard, will be one of the biggest thrills of my career,” Dr. Dre said in a statement. “I’m grateful to JAY-Z, Roc Nation, the NFL, and Pepsi as well as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar for joining me in what will be an unforgettable cultural moment.”
The star power doesn’t end with the Halftime Show; a plethora of music stars are making appearances in the highly anticipated Super Bowl LVI commercials.
