Morgan Wallen has been teasing fans about his unreleased song “7 Summers” that he first showcased to fans as a demo when nominated by Jake Owen as part of the Deep Cuts Challenge that circulated on Instagram throughout the ongoing pandemic.

“Got nominated by Jake Owen to post a demo. I’m somewhat on the fence about putting this one on my next record. Y’all let me know what you think,” Wallen shared when he posted the demo of the song. He then nominated Keith Urban, Jason Aldean and Luke Combs to share their demos as part of the challenge.

“But I wonder when you’re drinking if you / Find yourself thinking about / That boy from east Tennessee / And I know we both knew better, but / We still said forever / And that Was 7 summers ago” sing Wallen in the unreleased track.

The country superstar later teased fans on Twitter on July 25 saying “Well I just looked around on social media and seems like y’all want me to drop Seven Summers.”
