Morgan Wallen made his ACM Awards performance debut with his 3x Platinum hit “Whiskey Glasses” live from the Grand Ole Opry House.
“It’s my first time really getting a full-song performance on an awards show. So that’s really special,” Wallen told ABC. “And I’m getting to use my own band.”
Wallen even got his fans involved with his major awards show debut, during the ‘line em up, knock ’em back, fill ’em up’ lyric of the track, videos of fans appeared singing the chart-topping hit single.
“Whiskey Glasses” is the third single from Wallen’s debut album, If I Know Me, and was written by Ben Burgess and Kevin Kadish. The song is Wallen’s biggest hit to date and a fan-favorite.
Wallen was also nominated for New Male Artist Of The Year.
