International K-Pop Group, Monsta X, make a global splash with the release of their first all English language single, written by Seo Jieum and Monsta X’s very own Jooheon and I.M. “Shoot Out” will infiltrate U.S. Radio tonight, during the 7:00-10:00PM hours (PST), with JoJo Wright of Los Angeles’ 102.7 KIIS FM exclusively debuting it. As described by Billboard“The new version of the thumping dance track maintains the song’s original dynamic attitude and contains similar lyrics, along with the angst-filled, haunting imagery of someone expressing their pain from a dangerous love.” Monsta X will be bringing their powerful and captivating energy back to the U.S. in 3 weeks, where they will be performing“Shoot Out” English version for the first time at iHearts’ Jingle Ball tour; kicking off in Los Angeles as the first K-Pop group to ever perform.

“We’re thrilled to be making our English language debut and have been working hard to show a new and improved version of Monsta X for all of our fans. Thank you to Monbebes everywhere for making Monsta X an international team.” -Monsta X

With their previous singles touching on love, relationships, jealousy, and everything in between; Monsta X sticks to this same theme with “Shoot Out.” The lyrics describe “love like a shoot out”“I’m ready for the savior/Because you cut to my heart like a razor/In the darkness, losing my way, giving my breath away.” Idolator described the single as “A toxic romance seems to emerge as the unifying theme.”

The original version of “Shoot Out” has already made a huge impact on both Korean and U.S. shores by picking up 4 consecutive #1 wins on the prestigious Korean TV Shows; M Countdown, Show Champion, SBS MTV’s “The Show,” and Music Bank. With Billboard noting “This week on the charts, “Shoot Out” climbs from No. 10 to No. 8 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart, marking the band’s ninth top 10 on the chart.”
