The next round of moderators for “An Evening with President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton” were announced today for the April dates of the speaking tour.

CNN political analyst and former adviser to President Bill Clinton Paul Begala will join the pair in New York, followed by actor and philanthropist Ben Stiller in Detroit, former Philadelphia Eagle turned actor Nnamdi Asomugha in Philadelphia, attorney, advocate and media personality Star Jones in Wallingford, comedian Jordan Klepper in Washington DC and actor Tony Goldwyn will wrap up the April dates in Boston. Please see below for moderator biographies.

The Clintons will take part in a series of conversations across North America, continuing through April and May of this year. Moderators for the May dates of the tour will be announced at a later date. The events, produced by Live Nation, are titled “An Evening with President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton” and will feature joint on stage conversations with the two leaders sharing stories and inspiring anecdotes that shaped their historic careers in public service, while also discussing issues of the day and looking towards the future.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear one-of-a-kind conversations with the two leaders as they tell their stories from some of the most important moments in modern history. From the American presidency to the halls of the Senate and State Department, to one of the United States’ most controversial and unpredictable presidential elections, they provide a unique perspective on the past, and remarkable insight into where we go from here.

Moderator Biographies

Paul Begala
Paul Begala was a senior strategist for the Clinton-Gore Presidential Campaign in 1992.  He later served as Counselor to the President in the Clinton White House. He is currently a political analyst for CNN. Begala is also an Affiliated Professor of Public Policy at Georgetown University, and has taught at the University of Georgia School of Law and the University of Texas at Austin School of Journalism. Paul has written five books on politics, several of which were best-sellers.  He was one of the founding contributing editors at John F. Kennedy Jr’s George, the magazine, and has been a columnist for Newsweek. He currently writes opinion columns for CNN.com.

Ben Stiller

Ben Stiller is one of Hollywood’s most successful and acclaimed multihyphenates.  As an actor, director, writer, and producer, Stiller’s global box office stands at nearly $3 billion, making him one of the highest-grossing stars of all time; and also one of the most versatile, effortlessly moving between major franchises such as Meet the Parents and Night at the Museum, the animated Madagascar films, critically-acclaimed arthouse hits; The Royal Tenenbaums, Meyerowitz StoriesandWhile We’re Young,his legendary sketch television series The Ben Stiller Show, and the Oscar-nominated Tropic Thunder, which he starred in, directed, co-wrote, and produced, to massive acclaim under his production company, Red Hour.

Nnamdi Asomugha

Nnamdi Asomugha is an actor, producer, philanthropist and former All-Pro NFL player who has

consistently used his platform to create positive change in the community. Together with his family he

co-founded The Asomugha Foundation in 2010, a 501c(3) whose mission is to positively impact

disadvantaged youth in the U.S. and underprivileged orphans and widows in Africa through education and

empowerment. As part of the foundation, Asomugha created ACTS (Asomugha College Tour for

Scholars) in 2007, a mentorship program that strives to provide high-achieving students from underserved communities with the resources and encouragement to pursue higher education.

Star Jones

Star Jones is an attorney, advocate, business executive, best-selling author and an Emmy award nominated TV host. Skilled in law, media and business, Ms. Jones is presently a member of the Board of Directors and President of Professional Diversity Network, a publicly traded company (Nasdaq: IPDN). She is amongst a small group of African-American women in leadership of a publicly traded company in the U.S.

Jordan Klepper

Jordan Klepper is the star and creator of the upcoming Comedy Central docuseries, KLEPPER, premiering May 9th, 2019. Set loose from his former desk as host of 2018’s Comedy Central late night series, THE OPPOSITION W/JORDAN KLEPPER, the Michigan native is traveling throughout America, tackling head -on key issues which are often ignored by traditional news outlets.  The premiere episode takes Klepper to a small Texas town, getting body-slammed by army veterans who use WWE-style wrestling as a way of dealing with PTSD. He’s sinking in a boat with environmental protesters in the Louisiana bayou. He’s packing moving boxes with one of the nation’s first Native American Congresswomen in New Mexico and he’s posting bail at an Atlanta jail after participating in a demonstration with undocumented immigrant students banned from enrolling in colleges in Georgia.

Tony Goldwyn

Actor, director, producer Tony Goldwyn is currently starring on Broadway in Ivo van Hove’s production of Network with Bryan Cranston. He also co-stars with Uma Thurman in the Netflix series, “Chambers,” due in spring 2019. Recently, he concluded his role as ‘President Fitzgerald Grant’ in Shonda Rhimes’ “Scandal” after its seven season run. He also dedicates much of his personal time to philanthropic work. Goldwyn serves as an Ambassador for Stand Up To Cancer and recently became a board member for the humanitarian relief organization Americares. Additionally, he is a Trustee for Second Stage Theater, sits on the MPTF Foundation Board of Governors as well as the Board of Trustees at the Innocence Project.
