Miley Cyrus just released a remix to her latest single “Midnight Sky” dubbed “Edge Of Midnight” and it features the iconic Fleetwood Mac front-woman Stevie Nicks. The song was inspired by Nicks and shares similarities with Nicks’ solo track “Edge Of Seventeen.” Ahead of the release of her single, Cyrus contacted Nicks to request permission to pay tribute to her in the track.
“I sent her the song and I said, ‘I have an alternate melody, if you don’t want me to kind of like pay tribute to you and your greatness and how much you’ve inspired me,” Cyrus said. “And she said, ‘You can borrow from me anytime.”
The pop star dropped the new remix on Friday (Nov. 6) and fans are loving it!
The remix features the original song by Cyrus “Midnight Sky” blended perfectly with “Edge Of Seventeen.

“Midnight Sky” is a track from Cyrus’ upcoming new album, Plastic Hearts, which is slated to arrive November 27. You can preorder her album HERE.
Nicks released her first new song in six years entitled “Show Them The Way” in early October.
