MIGOS stopped by Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center arena on Drake’s headlining ‘Aubrey And The Three Migos‘ Tour for an evening of hit after hit. Launching onto the stage to “Hannah Montana” which quickly got the fans off their feet roaring with applause as MIGOS is a fan favorite performer in the area. The Georgia trio is definitely welcomed in Philadelphia as fans allowed that to shine during their about 35-minute set in Philly before Drake took the stage.
The multi-platinum rap group hand delivered hit after hit without the help of much production other then some co2, fog, and their album art created on the DJ booth and risers that illuminated on the NBA court length stage. Migos dressed in green, red, and yellow neon one-piece suits making it easy to find them on-stage as not only their voices but their outfits shined vibrantly. Their set included many of their new songs from their latest record, Culture, like “Slippery,” “T-Shirt,” “Deadz,” “Kelly Price,” “Get Right Witcha,” and of course another smash of theirs “Bad And Boujee.” Takeoff, Quavo and Offset’s vocals flowed perfectly blending in and out of each other’s lines on each song.
MIGOS’ performance was impeccable, however the true highlights of their performance was when Drake allowed the trio to re-enter the stage for a few songs in the middle of his set whilst he changed calling this portion of their set “Culture Side.” Even performing their explosive collaboration of “Walk It Like I Talk It” together on stage before Drake exited the stage. The trio also included hits like “Versace,” “Stir Fry,” and of course their Nicki Minaj and Cardi B collaboration which is their latest radio flooding single “Motorsport.” It was unfortunate that neither Nicki or Cardi were there to freestyle their verse on the hit song but the trio didn’t let them stop them from powering through the song and having each and every fan off their feet dancing and screaming the lyrics back to them.
