Marshmello Goes Country with Kane Brown Collab “One Thing Right” (LISTEN)

Marshmello has gone country with his new Kane Brown collaboration for their new single “One Thing Right,” this song marks Marshmello’s first country crossover track. It is destined to be a hit song with Brown on the track with his signature vocals and the loyal fanbase that backs him.

As said by CountryNow.com, Brown teased the new song during an Instagram live on Monday (June 17), telling fans “I’ve got a surprise for y’all. I got a friend with me if you wanna see him, We got a song coming out Friday. I hope you’re ready” before panning the camera over to Marshmello.

Marshmello recently released his rock-collab “Rescue Me” with A Day To Remember just a few days ago which is said to be on his forthcoming new LP, Joytime III. Marshmello has also teased a Cardi B collaboration coming soon for this new record but first its this country collaborative single “One Thing Right” which is also expected to be found on his forthcoming new LP, Joytime III. There is no definitive release date for Marshmello’s Joytime III, but with the singles “Rescue Me” and “One Thing Right” it is definitley showing that the album is going to be a chart-topping record.

Written by Brown, Marshmello, Jesse Frasure, Josh Hoge, and Matthew McGinn, “One Thing Right” (Joytime Collective/RCA Nashville) is Marshmello’s first collaboration with a country music artist and pairs the international producer with “genre-defying” (Billboard) entertainer, Kane Brown. Having shattered records in their respective musical genres, Marshmello and Brown will bring “One Thing Right” to GMA’s Summer Concert Series later this summer, on August 30.

Brown spoke about the track late last year with Billboard: “It tells you everything that I’ve done wrong growing up, and it’s saying that the one thing I did get right, was you.” Although Brown originally thought of his wife, the song’s message can reflect a myriad of relationships, such as family and friends.
