Maroon 5 will be headlining the Super Bowl LIII halftime show in Atlanta, Georgia on February 3rd, 2019. Variety reported first that Maroon 5 had locked down the in-demand performance spot during the halftime show.

Variety reached for comment to NFL and a NFL rep told Variety that, “It’s a Super Bowl tradition to speculate about the performers for the Pepsi Halftime Show. We are continuing to work with [longtime sponsor] Pepsi on our plans but do not have any announcements to make on what will be another epic show.” Variety also reached out to a rep for Maroon 5 and they could not immediately be reached for comment.

Maroon 5 has some awesome collaborations under their belt with their singles with artists like Cardi B and Kendrick Lamar. We can only hope for some great collaboration performances during the halftime show with the likes of those artists joining Maroon 5.

The band however has not confirmed as of yet. However, several media outlets have had sources confirm this news.
