Mariah Carey was honored tonight at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) with the Icon Award. Jennifer Hudson introduced Mariah Carey to the stage saying “She is truly one-of-a-king” continuing to say “as the decades go by one thing remains the same, Mariah is on the top” before showcasing her career within a video highlighting her successes as mentioned above. The 14-time Billboard Music Award winner, Mariah Carey was then given the name as the ‘queen of christmas’ as her single “All I Want For Christmas Is You’ became the best selling holiday song of all time.
