Luke Combs is sharing a second unreleased new song that he has been playing on the road.
On Thursday, July 1, Combs shared another unreleased original track that is called “Five-Leaf Clover.” The song is
“I know I’m a lucky man / but I ain’t sure why I am / Cause it ain’t like anyone deserves the world in the palm of their hand / I’ve hit my knees, thankful as can be / But the one thing I can’t get over / how’d a guy like me, who’ve been fine with three / whined up with a five-leaf clover,” Combs sings in the chorus, during the acoustic performance clip.
“As promised, here’s the second new song that I’ve been playing on tour. It’s called ‘Five-Leaf Clover,'” Combs captioned the live video clip, performing the new unreleased original song.
“Five-Leaf Clover” follows Combs’ unreleased song “Good Old Days,” which he shared in June.
The two new songs could appear on the superstar’s upcoming new album. Combs officially began working on his forthcoming project in early March 2021, which he announced on his 31st Birthday. And although he hasn’t shared an official release date for the album yet, he has been teasing fans with updates often on social media, including sharing songs that could potentially make the album. He’s shared songs such as “See Me Now,” “Ever Mine,” “We Still Drink Beer” and many more.
Combs’ upcoming new record will be the follow-up to his chart-topping, 2x Platinum 2019 album, What You See Is What You Get, and the 2020 deluxe edition of that dubbed, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get.
