Louis Tomlinson releases his highly anticipated single, “Two Of Us,” via Syco/Arista Records today. Get the song here! The first single off Louis’ debut album is his response to the passing of his mother in December 2016. The deeply personal pop ballad was written to ultimately be a hopeful song and is perfect to spearhead his return to music as a solo artist. Alongside the single, Louis released a lyric video which can be viewed below.
“I just feel like musically, I almost needed to get this song off my chest,” Louis explains. “People say writing is a part of therapy and in a way, I feel like I’d been avoiding writing this song because I knew I only had one chance to get it right. I don’t mean to be too soppy about it, but if “Two of Us” can help just one other person who’s going through the tough time that I went through, then that would make me really happy.”
Last week, Louis began teasing the new single on his socials with a scavenger hunt where he hid video clips in hotspots around the world for his fans to find.
