Lizzo performed for the first-time ever at the American Music Awards tonight (Nov. 24) and fans thoroughly enjoyed the performance of “Jerome” which is no surprise as Lizzo’s shows are a force to be reckoned with. “Jerome” is from her latest album, Cuz I Love You.

Motivating viewers with a self empowering anthemic song and speech asking that fans light up the crowd in her fuchsia pink beautiful dress. Ending with a massive standing ovation.

Lizzo is one of the biggest breakthrough artists of the year this year and her hits have dominated award shows, radio stations and hype music playlists at concerts all year long. She is up for three nominations at the awards show tonight. Lizzo released her debut album in 2013 but she achieve major success this year with her two-year-old song “Truth Hurts” which topped the Hot 100 charts for seven weeks and her three-year-old song “Good As Hell” just reached the Top 10 on the pop charts and is No. 1 on R&B charts. Lizzo released her major-label debut album, Cuz I Love You, earlier this year which she has been touring in support of on two sold out runs of the album so far.
