Lizzo opened the 2020 GRAMMYs with a stunning performance of the title track to her massive album, Cuz I Love U, adorn in a sparkling black diamond encrusted gown. Launching her set dedicating her performance to the late, Kobe Bryant, saying “This one’s for Kobe.”
Then changing into a neon bodysuit to perform her No. 1 hit “Truth Hurts” complete with some impeccable choreography from her dancers and ending that performance with Sasha Flute as she soloed on her. Lizzo received a well-deserved standing ovation for several minutes after she ended saying, “welcome to the Grammys bitch!”

The 62nd Annual GRAMMYs Awards, hosted by Alicia Keys, took place on Sunday, Jan. 26 at Los Angeles’ STAPLES Center. The star-studded show aired live on CBS at 8pm EST.
