Lizzo’s song “Truth Hurts” from her highly successful third studio album, Cuz I Love You, has been a smash hit that we can’t get out of our heads this summer and tonight she brought the anthemic single to the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards for an impeccable performance. Lizzo brought “Truth Hurts” and “Good As Hell” to the show and it was beyond our expectations including some great choreography.

Lizzo is nominated for four awards at tonight’s award show, and her performance highlighted why she was as she impressed with her “Truth Hurts” to “Good as Hell” medley. Giving a brief self confidence speech between the transition telling fans that she is “I’m tired of the bulls***” when it comes to loving yourself and no one opinions should matter.
