Andrew Wendowski is the Founder and CEO of Music Mayhem. As a 29-year-old entrepreneur, he oversees content as the Editor-In-Chief for the independent brand. Wendowski, who splits time between Philadelphia, Penn., and Nashville, Tenn., has an extensive background in multimedia. Before launching Music Mayhem in 2014, he worked as a highly sought-after photojournalist and tour photographer, collaborating with such labels as Interscope Records and Republic Records. He has captured photos of some of the biggest names, including Taylor Swift, Metallica, Harry Styles, P!NK, Morgan Wallen, Carrie Underwood, The Rolling Stones, Madonna, Shania Twain, and hundreds more. Wendowski’s photos and freelance work have appeared nationwide and can be seen everywhere from ad campaigns to various publications, including Billboard and Rolling Stone. When Wendowski isn’t running Music Mayhem, he enjoys spending time at concerts, traveling, and capturing photos.

Live Nation Entertainment, the world’s leading live entertainment company, announced today that it has acquired Finland’s leading hip-hop festival, Blockfest.

Blockfest was founded in 2008 in Tampere, Finland and has grown to be one of the biggest hip-hop festivals in the Nordic countries. The festival sells out annually, attracting a record 75,000 festival-goers in 2018, and takes place over two days at the Tampere Stadium.

“This deal cements Blockfest’s position in the festival calendar and will ensure that the festival attracts the hottest international acts going forward. We have a great team who are excited to work more closely with Live Nation Finland to deliver the best possible live experience for our audience” said Kalle Kallonen, CEO and founder of Blockfest.

“We have always had a great relationship with Blockfest and are looking forward to putting our resources into bringing more of the world’s leading hip-hop, R&B and grime artists to the festival” said Zachris Sundell, head promoter for Live Nation Finland “Blockfest is one of the most innovative festivals in Finland and we are thrilled to be a part of its future”.

Live Nation Finland is a leading event organiser in Finland, producing live experiences ranging from stadium and arena concerts, to club shows and events, to family entertainment performances. Live Nation Finland and Blockfest have worked together since 2013 to bring top artists to the festival’s stages, including Wu-Tang Clan, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Wiz Khalifa, Skepta, Rick Ross, Mobb Deep, Migos, Lil Wayne, NAS, Post Malone, G-Eazy and A$AP Rocky.
