Linkin Park‘s Mike Shinoda is in the studio working on new music, but it’s a song that you have heard previously from Shinoda and it is a forthcoming single and the first without their vocalist Chester Bennington, who unexpectedly passed away earlier this year in July.
Shinoda wrote the single “Looking For An Answer” following the death of Bennington earlier this year. He performed a version of the track at the Linkin Park And Friends Celebrate Life In Honor Of Chester Bennington event at the Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 27th but he noted that it was not completed yet and it could change by the time it gets officially mastered and mixed to be released.
Linkin Park has just released their live album titled, One More Light Live, which dropped on December 15th. The live album includes song performed on their 2017 One More Light World Tour and includes most of their hit songs but also includes songs off their latest album, One More Light.
The song is at step one. Who knows how many steps come next. But I promised to share the progress, so I’m sharing it! Happy holidays YOU GUYS ?
