Linkin Park co-founder, vocalist and guitarist Mike Shinoda announced his forthcoming debut album, Post Traumatic, Today (Thurs. March 29th), saying it is set to drop on June 15th. With the announcement of his debut album, Shinoda also dropped two new singles that will be included on this new album, the singles being “Crossing A Line,” and “Nothing Makes Senses Anymore.” “Crossing A Line” was accompanied by an uplifting music video upon its released.
Earlier this year, Shinoda released his EP titled Post Traumatic, which he wrote in reflection of Chester Bennington’s unexpected death last year (2017). Shinoda has an upcoming performance and the first solo performance since Bennington’s death which will be at Identity LA Festival (FREE SHOW) on May 12th, and he will also be taking the stage at this years Reading & Leeds Festival in the summer on August 25th & 26th.
Shinoda announced this debut album and new singles with an Instagram post of a notebook page with a note detailing the release saying, “New Music! New Album! Today, My first single is out called ‘Crossing A Line.’ Plus a bonus song, ‘Nothing Makes Sense Anymore.’ Both tracks will appear on my upcoming album ‘Post Traumatic,’ which is available for preorder.
