Z100 brought out Liam Payne & Social House for their Z100 Summer Bash in New York City at Pier 17 which overlooked the Brooklyn Bridge with a beautiful waterfront view from the rooftop. Social House brought their unique sound and energy when they performed their smash hit “Magic In The Hamptons,” following a DJ who played the perfect blend of One Direction songs as well as including in some solo material from each member in the band with the exception of Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik.
Following an incredible introduction from iHeartRadio’s Elvis Duran, Liam Payne took to the stage for a 6 song performance including his hits like “Strip That Down,” “Familiar (feat. J.Balvin),” “Get Low (feat. Zedd),” but it wasn’t until Payne’s “Bedroom Floor” and “For You (feat. Rita Ora)” when Payne really got to showcase his incredible vocal talents. Unfortunately, none of the featured artists on the track were present for the performances but it wasn’t needed Payne perfectly sang the songs while having a flawless choreographed dance routine to each hit. The fans thoroughly enjoyed his solo rendition of One Direction’s hit “Little Things,” in which he performed better then if it was the full band. Payne interacting with fans along the barricade throughout his 6-song set singing to them, dancing towards them, pointing, reading their signs, and showing he genuinely cares about them and appreciates their support, as he even allowed the opportunity for 30 radio winners to meet him prior to his performance.
This performance came just 2 days before the release of Liam Payne’s debut EP, First Time, which is out now on all streaming platforms and available at all major retailers. The title track to his debut EP “First Time” featuring French Montana can be heard, HERE. Thanks Z100 for having us out to cover the event, and we look forward to many more to come!
