Lewis Capaldi brought his sold out North America tour to Philadelphia on Sunday, October 13th, for an evening of angelic vocals, heartbreak and laughter to the TLA, which for the evening was transformed into the church of Capaldi with his SOLD OUT show. The Philadelphia show also happened to be the tours finale show bringing an hour and a half of his campaign to accomplish becoming ‘America’s Next Sweetheart.”
The 22-year-old Scottish singer/songwriter has been sitting atop the charts for 21-weeks and counting with his single “Someone You Loved” from his debut album, Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent, not to mention Capaldi has been having an incredible year so far not only with that chart topping single but with a completely sold out North American Tour, a sold out UK arena tour in 2020 which sold out in just 10-minutes and releasing his exceptionally well grasped debut album.
The sold out crowd seemed to thoroughly enjoy Capaldi’s heart-wrenching lyrics along with Capaldi’s hilarious onstage banter as the show was not only a concert but he made it more of a stand-up comedy with song being performed between the jokes as fans throughout the venue were not only crying tears of happiness but also sadness from connecting to the lyrics.
With his powerful vocals, emotion-filled lyrical content, jammin’ instrumentals and catchy choruses, Capaldi was able to showcase his talents that one needs to witness at least once as it is truly mesmerizing with Capaldi’s abilities to keep a sold out crowds attention grasped.
