LeAnn Rimes returned to the stage for the first time since winning Season 4 of The Masked Singer on Thursday (Dec. 31) during New Year’s Eve on Fox.
The singer performed “Throw My Arms Around The World,” her latest single that she dropped following her win on The Masked Singer.
“If I could throw my arms around the world, maybe I could love it back to life,” Rimes sings in the new song.

Fox’s New Year’s Eve Toast & Roast 2021 also featured performances from Green Day, Gabby Barrett, John Legend, Ava Max and more. As well as special celebrity appearances by Cheyenne Jackson, Jane Krakowski, Leslie Jordan, Mayim Bialik, Morris Chestnut, Randy Jackson, Tim Allen and Tom Payne.
Hosted by Ken Jeong and Joel McHale, The New Year’s Eve special aired live from Los Angeles on Thursday, December 31 (live 8:00-10:00 PM ET/CT live MT/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. Following a break for the local news broadcast, the special returned from 11:00 p.m.-12:30 a.m. EST (CT/MT/PT tape-delayed) for the iconic ball drop.
The show was produced by FOX Alternative Entertainment with some performances in collaboration with iHeartRadio. Carol Donovan served as the executive producer. This is the first year that FOX’s New Year’s Eve special was produced entirely by FOX Alternative Entertainment.
