Lauren Alaina announced her debut headlining tour today, labeling it was the ‘That Girl Was Me’ tour. Alaina revealed the cities, dates and venues for this debut headlining trek which kicks off in September in Missouri. The news of the tour announcement comes via a video announcement today (May 28) along with a new music video for her current single, “Ladies in The 90s.”
The tour is amply named after the question she is asked on numerous occasions as she mentioned in her tour announcement video saying, “I always love when y’all come up to me and say, ’Hey, are you that girl that I saw open for Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, and Alan Jackson?’” or “Are you that girl from American Idol.”
Filmore was announced as the supporting act and will join Alaina on many of the tour dates, with another, not-yet-announced artist joining her on other select dates. The tour kicks off Sept. 14th in Columbia, Missouri and runs through Oct. 25th in Nashville. Presale tickets go on sale May 29th with official sales available Friday, May 31st via Alaina’s website.
