Laine Hardy remotely performed the National Anthem ahead of the NASCAR Cup Series Consumers Energy 400 at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday (August 9). The race and anthem performance was broadcasted on NBC.
The “Tiny Town” singer’s performance was filmed outdoors in a wooden area by what appears to be a lake.
“I can’t believe I’m getting to sing the National Anthem before a NASCAR race,” Hardy said in a press release. “Although I can’t be there in person during this time, I’m definitely looking forward to future races.”

Additionally, Hardy recently released his hometown-inspired single “Tiny Town,” which pays homage to his small town living. This song follows the release of his singles “Ground I Grew Up On,” and “Let There Be Country.”
