Rising country singer/songwriter Kylie Morgan announced the release of her highly-anticipated five track EP, Songs To Say I Do, set to drop on October 14.
“I was the girl who swore, she would never get married. I felt that I was always forced to choose between my relationship and my dreams. Until I met @jayallenmusic. He inspired every track for our special day,” shared Morgan in an Instagram post. “This project takes you from the moment we met, him asking my dad for my hand, me asking my girls to stand by my side, the song I wrote to sing to jay on our wedding day, & ending with honey vibes.”
Kylie Morgan Went Viral When Her Single “Bridesmaids” Exploded On TikTok
Inspired by her upcoming nuptials, the project includes four new tracks – all co-written by Morgan – as well as “Bridesmaids,” her recently released viral hit.
Co-written by Kylie, KK Johnson and one of her bridesmaids, Sam Derosa, the track took TikTok by storm, earning more than 4.5 million views in under 48 hours. The video features Morgan and her bride tribe, who’ll stand beside her when she says “I do” to fiancé Jay Allen, fellow country singer and current The Voice contestant.

“She got me through high school / She’d probably post my bail / And she’s the one who’d get me drunk, be next to me in jail / She knows she’s my voice of reason / She’s my biggest fan / She’s who told me, ‘leave the boy and find yourself a man,’” Morgan sang along to her song, gesturing at each of her bridesmaids during the lyric that corresponded to them.
“Yeah / If girls run the world / You’re why mine keeps spinning / So I gotta ask you / Will you be my bridesmaids / My ride or dies / My champagne tipsy kinda tribe / Wild ones right by my side / Rocking black while I’m wearing white / Sisters I get to choose / Might’ve found the one, but I need you too / The song’s always about the groom, but I just can’t say I do / Without my bridesmaids,” Morgan continued.
The initial viral video has earned over 8.2 million views and 1.2 million likes, with over 156K fans using the sound to create their own videos giving nods to not only wedding parties, but family members, favorite musicians and more.
Kylie Morgan And Jay Allen Were Forced To Reschedule Their Upcoming Wedding
Kylie’s wedding, originally set for October 1, was rescheduled due to the ongoing impacts of Hurricane Ian.
“Oct 1, 2022 was supposed to look a little different for us today. 😢 For those of you haven’t seen our posts, our wedding venue as well as so many of our family and friends homes were destroyed due to the hurricane. We never imagined over a year and a half of waiting & planning for this day would turn into us just heartbroken,” she said via Instagram. “But not for us, for our beach. Fort Myers Beach has been our home away from home for years. As we travel there every Easter & multiple other times to spend time with our friends who have become our family. Please take a moment today, to send up a prayer, call someone you love, and hold on tight to your person … I know that’s what jay and I will be doing.”
The couple has yet to announce a new date for their special day.
Kylie is currently on the road with Tyler Rich for his Thinkin’ We’re In Love Tour, making stops in Washington, Oregon and Idaho this upcoming weekend.
