Korn has officially returned to the road following frontman Jonathan Davis’ COVID-19 diagnosis earlier this month following the band’s show in Camden, NJ. After contracting the illness, the popular nu-metal, rock group decided to postpone the six shows following his diagnosis on August 16.

Despite his return to the road, Davis is still recovering from COVID-19 and is “still struggling with the COVID after-effects.”

“Jonathan Davis is still struggling with the COVID after-effects,” guitarist Brian ‘Head’ Welch told fans in a video on Instagram. “He’s physically weak and having a mental battle. And any type of love, light and energy you can throw at him—prayers, all of it. We have shows coming up, so all of you guys, check the dates. Whatever show you’re going to, throw him some love and energy, man—he needs you more than ever.”

The band and Davis returned to the stage at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, IL on Friday (Aug. 27), however, Davis, who is still suffering from the illness, had to add a shiny silver throne to the bands production, which allowed the singer to catch his breath throughout the set.

In a fan-captured video, you can see Davis taking brief breaks to rest as he’s still very weak and battling the after-effects of the brutal sickness. During the set, he was even seen receiving oxygen on stage

“I’m f–king feeling very weak,” Davis told the crowd (via TMZ), “but I f–king refuse to f–king cancel!” Later adding, “I had to come out here and do this shit for you.”

As shown and told by TMZ, Davis is also using oxygen to help him get through performances.
