KESHA has released her first new song in 4 years of not putting out any new music, this new single is called “Praying.” In this song Kesha fights back and bares all about her lowest moments as an artist and how those moment inspired this new song. The album is being released on Kemosabe Records, the Dr. Luke-owned imprint that was at the center of lawsuits for the last three years. Kemosabe is distributed by Sony Music Entertainment.
The video opens with a very emotional statement from Kesha stating “Am I dead? Or is this one of those dreams? Those horrible dreams that seem like they last forever? If I am alive, why? If there is a God or whatever, something, somewhere, why have I been abandoned by everyone and everything I’ve ever known? I’ve ever loved? Stranded. What is the lesson? What is the point? God, give me a sign, or I have to give up. I can’t do this anymore. Please just let me die. Being alive hurts too much.” See the music video and hear the new single below!
