Keith Urban took a short break from his ACM Awards co-hosting duties for the live performance debut of “Tumbleweed.”
The song is featured on the 15-time ACM Award winner’s latest album, The Speed of Now.
“It’s a bit of a barn burner – and I’m going to be doing it with my band on stage,” Urban revealed prior to the show. “We’ve never done this song anywhere let alone on a TV show – but we’ve never done it live on stage or played it together as a band. So, we’re going to be cramming in some rehearsal time between now and Sunday and just going for it, but I can’t wait to be on stage with my band again.”
