Keith Urban to Feature on Forthcoming “Country-Twerk” Song with Breland

Country newcomer, Breland announced that country superstar Keith Urban is featured on his forthcoming new song, slated for release this year. He announced the collaboration during the CMA Summer Stay-Cay livestream on Wednesday (July 1) evening.

Breland described the song as one that he hasn’t seen done much before, labeling it a “Country-Twerk” song.

During the CMA Summer Stay-Cay, Lauren Alaina, Devin Dawson, Hardy and Breland were on a Zoom conference call when Dawson asked Breland, “How was your write with Keith Urban?”

“Oh, it was great, He’s gonna be on my next Joint, I’m really excited about it,” Breland gushed.

“It’s a Country-twerk song,” Breland explained to the country artists.

Breland teased a lyric within the forthcoming new collaboration: “Drop it low you can blame it on the jack.”

“Getting Keith on a track that says that is pretty exciting,” Breland explained.

The “My Truck” singer recently unveiled his Self-Titled EP on May 22 that featured a collaboration from Sam Hunt.

The CMA Summer Stay-Cay Presented by Budweiser Nitro Reserve Gold aired live on Wednesday (July 1) on YouTube and Facebook at 6 p.m. ET/5 p.m. CT.
