Keith Urban surprised the New Year’s Nashville crowd with a special guest during his performance of Stevie Nicks, who he called “a goddess.” The two performed a collaborative duet of Nick’s 1981 duet with the late Tom Petty, “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” in front of thousands of die hard fans.
This year marked Urban’s fourth consecutive year headlining Music City Midnight at Nashville’s Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. Urban brought out guests that included not only Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks but also Ashley McBryde and his wife Nicole Kidman. Jason Isbell, the Struts, Amanda Shires, Bren Joy, Kalie Shorr, DJ Dave Audé and the Fisk Jubilee Singers also joined him for this free event.
