Katy Perry recently took to Instagram (@KatyPerry) posting a throwback photo to 2008 when she was on the Vans Warped Tour. Perry captioned the image from the tour with “Can’t skip the steps, gotta pay your dues… Warped Tour 2008 #fbf” in which an almost immediate response was prompted from Vans Warped Tour creator Kevin Lyman who replied to Perry saying “Will save you a spot to drop in this summer.. be happy to match the last guarantee and throw a special BBQ for you @VansWarpedTour 2018…final cross country run!” Perry fans and Warped Tour fans alike are taking to social media freaking out about the possibility of Perry returning to Warped Tour even if it means for a just one date performance, see fan reactions below.

Lyman recently announced that 2018 will mark the final cross country run for the Vans Warped Tour, this does not mean the END of Warped Tour totally but it does mean the final summer where it will hit a majority of the US each summer and maybe mean for some pop-up Warped shows or maybe a more popular city mini run of Warped Tour.
