Kane Brown gave the debut performance of an unreleased track called “BFE” on Wednesday (July 1) during CMA Summer Stay-Cay Presented By Budweiser Nitro Reserve Gold.

The country superstar reflects on his roots in the new boot-stomping, ’90s-inspired tune, which features guitar solos, steel guitar and even a fiddle. “BFE” gives fans a taste of what’s to come from Brown on his forthcoming EP in a way they’ve never heard him before.

“We’re gonna sing a song that’s not even released yet called ‘BFE,’ it’s coming out on the EP,” Brown shared when introducing the song.

“Here’s to the middle of nowhere / where the small-town roots run deep / if you know what I’m talking bout / yeah you was raised like me / I’m talkin’ Floridabama, Georgia, Carolina, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas to Tennessee / So Raise your beers, cheers, here’s to BFE,” Brown sings during the chorus.

With its infectious melodies and catchy chorus, “BFE” has the potential to become Brown’s next chart-topping hit.

You can hear the song at the 04:42:54 mark in the below video.
