Kane Brown had a bunch of firsts tonight during his 54th annual ACM Awards performance, as he performed his current single “Good As You” for the first time on television. He also marked his first time playing the ACMs with his full band present for the performance, and it also marked the first time that his collaborator Khalid ever performed for a crowd of primarily country fans.
Brown launched his set with the simplistic but anthemic, current radio single “Good As You” which the crowd was seen singing and swaying along to throughout the performance before he welcomed Khalid to the stage for a collaborative performance of their “Saturday Nights” remix.
They released “Saturday Nights (Remix)” music video on Wednesday, February 20th in the morning and tonight Brown and Khalid performed the song together for the first time live on television. The song is a remix of Khalid’s original track “Saturday Nights,” which was featured on his recently released and critically-acclaimed EP, Suncity. Their performance together was very unique and fans thoroughly loved it. We even spotted Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott singing along to “Saturday Nights” from her seat in the crowd.
