On Friday, January 04, 2019 Justin Timberlake officially returned to his Man of the Woods Tour performing for a sold-out crowd at Washington, D.C.’s Capital One Arena. The performance is the first since postponing some of his 2018 concert dates due to a vocal cord injury.
Justin Timberlake and the Tennessee Kids were at the top of their game giving the crowd an energy-filled set including his major hits like, “Mirrors,” “Cry Me a River” and “Can’t Stop the Feeling.” The performance has been lauded throughout the course of the worldwide tour with GQ UK proclaiming, “Justin Timberlake is one of the greatest live performers of all time,” and Vibe.com saying, “Justin Timberlake knows how to put on a fu**ing show… for just two hours whatever woes we had were gone because Mr. Timberlake and The Tennessee Kids made it so.”
A day before the performance, Timberlake took to Instagram to personally address fans from his sound check at the Capital One Arena in D.C. “First of all, Happy New Year. Hope everybody had a good holiday,” said the award-winning actor and 10x Grammy-Award winning musician.“Second of all, D.C. we here. We’re back! Can’t wait. Excited! Y’all ready?”
