Fast-rising country star Julia Cole will make her Grand Ole Opry debut on July 16.
Cole, who has accumulated over 75 million on-demand streams, exclusively shared what a dream-come-true the life-changing opportunity will be for her.
“Getting invited to make my Grand Ole Opry debut is a dream come true. Stepping into the same circle that every Country music icon in history has will be a pinch-me moment I never forget,” Cole gushed to Music Mayhem.
In addition, Cole shared what fans can expect from her debut and whether or not any of her family members or friends would be in attendance.
“Anyone in that room when I walk out onto the stage will be a part of one of the most epic moments of my life. It will probably get emotional for me, but that won’t stop us from rocking out and having a great show,” she shared.
“My entire family from Texas and Louisiana is traveling up for the show. At the end of the day, my family is the most important thing in the world to me, so while having them in the crowd makes me extra nervous, it will also make the milestone performance even more incredible.”
The viral hitmaker will also pay tribute to her late grandfather during his Opry debut within her custom designed outfit that features hand-sewn pieces of his shirts.
“My grandpa, Poppy, played music his whole life and absolutely LOVED the Grand Ole Opry. I wish he was here still for this moment,” Cole shared. “Before he passed away on New Years, I knew it might be my last chance to ask him if I could wear something of his on the Opry stage, if I was ever fortunate enough to be invited. Despite the pain, with his forever joking sarcasm, he laughed ‘As long as you don’t stretch it out!’ My outfit has his shirt’s fabric custom sewn in so I know he and his spirit will be hugging me the entire time I’m on stage,” she added of the big evening.
While her performance on July 16 will mark her official Opry debut, Cole has previously shared stepped onto the iconic Nashville stage to perform a duet alongside Charles Esten, which you can watch below.

Ahead of her Opry debut, fans can catch Cole performing at this year’s CMA Fest. She’ll be making several appearances throughout the weekend in Music City, including at the BMI’s Ryman Block Party (Friday, June 10 @ 2 PM), CMA Fest Hard Rock Stage (Friday, June 10 @ 6:30 PM), and the Dr. Pepper Stage to sing a duet with Spencer Crandall (Saturday, June 11 @ 11 AM).
