Platinum-selling singer/songwriter Jon Pardi’s feel-good single “Heartache Medication” is impacting Country radio today. Co-written by Pardi, Natalie Hemby, and Barry Dean, the song is an uplifting take on heartbreak and is the first taste of new music from Pardi’s highly-anticipated album Heartache Medication, due out on Sept. 21. “Heartache Medication” highlights Pardi’s blend of authentic country instrumentation and the Associated Press called it, “…a drinking-to-forget song, with plenty of fiddles, twangy Bakersfield-style guitars and swinging pedal steel.” Rolling Stone named the song in their 10 Best Country and Americana songs list and added, “…if the lines scan as a little bummed out, the rhythmic, danceable mix of fiddle, steel and Pardi’s twang that accompanies them actually makes getting over a breakup sound like pure bliss.”
“I love this song, it’s about moving on but it’s not sad, it’s happy. It picks you up when you’re feeling down,” said Pardi.

Pardi is a co-writer on several of the songs on his forthcoming album Heartache Medication returning as a producer for the third time (California Sunrise, Write You A Song). Heartache Medication once again pairs him with California Sunrise, co-producer Bart Butler with Ryan Gore joining as first-time co-producer. Pardi recently revealed the track listing for his upcoming album during an exclusive listening party. The 14-track album also includes collaborations with Lauren Alaina and songs co-written with Eric Church and Miranda Lambert.
Heartache Medication is the follow up to Pardi’s co-produced Platinum-selling breakthrough #1 album California Sunrise, which featured Multi-Platinum, chart-topping hits including “Dirt on My Boots,” “Head Over Boots,” “Heartache on the Dancefloor” and “Night Shift.”
