After a fiery performance with the newly reunited Jonas Brothers at the Billboard Music Awards, Joe Jonas tied the knot with his fiance’ and Game Of Thrones star, Sophie Turner in Las Vegas, NV at the Little White Wedding Chapel Chapel L’Amour. The two were serenaded by Dan+Shay’s No. 1 smash hit song that they performed earlier in the evening on the BBMAs as well “Speechless” as Sophie walked down the aisle to her newly wedded husband, Joe Jonas. Nick and Kevin Jonas were there as Joe’s Groomsmen.
Joe and Sophie say their vows to each other, “I promise you, I will never leave you. I will love and trust you all the days of my life, in sickness and in health, forever and ever,” as they exchange ring pops as wedding bands. Grice announced, “Fine folks, family… in the power vested in me, it is my pleasure to pronounce you two husband and wife. You may kiss that bride!” then serenaded the newlyweds to “Viva Las Vegas” after they said I Do.
Jesse Grice, Reverend Elvis impersonator, who officiated the wedding, told TMZ that he was booked for this wedding a week in advance and wasn’t told who was getting hitched at the time just that he was needed. The couple applied for a marriage license earlier that day in Clark County, Nevada. Joe and Sophie booked the entire Chapel from 8PM to 12AM, so no other weddings were going on at the time that they arrived. Their marriage date marks what would’ve been the 52nd anniversary of the marriage between Elvis and Priscilla.
The ceremony was posted on Diplo’s Instagram as a live video on his story and it appears that Khalid was also in attendance for this surprise Jonas wedding.
After the wedding ceremony was over, the newlyweds celebrated by posing on the signature pink Cadillac in the venue’s famous drive-thru chapel, wearing festive Elvis glasses as they licked their ring pops.
